Devo Hat Trumpet Straight Mute - This mute has nothing to do with the rock band from the 80’s except that it’s universally recognized shape closely resembles the idea that of a colleague of mine (who shall remain nameless because of prior endorsement commitments). After a few tries, this shape ended up having a really interesting and tight sound.
